A driver whose licence category or CPC has lapsed is not behind on admin — they are not lawfully able to do the job, and every shift they work afterwards is a shift the operator cannot defend. The distinction matters because it decides how early you want to know, and the answer is always earlier than a spreadsheet checked monthly can tell you.

Infringements sit in one place, training in another and the licence check in a third, and each looks manageable on its own. Read together against a single driver they often say something the separate lists did not. Keeping them on one record is less about tidiness than about making the pattern visible while it is still small.
