Drivers' hours cheat sheet.
A one-page summary of the drivers' hours limits for a cab door or an office wall, written as a reminder for people who already work to them.
FleetOptix does not analyse tachograph data or calculate drivers' hours compliance. It holds the records around them — the infringement follow-up, the briefing and the driver file. Analysis belongs to a dedicated tachograph package.

What is on the sheet
- Daily and weekly driving limits, in outline
- Breaks and rest, and how they interact
- Where the rules differ for the regimes an operator may fall under
- What to do when something goes wrong on the road
Why this record matters
The rules are not complicated in principle and are easy to get wrong in practice, usually at the edges — a shift that runs long, a regime an operator rarely works under, a week that straddles two fixed periods. A single sheet to hand settles most of those at the point they come up.
It is a reminder, not a reference. Where a situation is genuinely unclear, the answer belongs with the transport manager and the current rules rather than with a laminated card.
Use it with
- Tachograph infringement reportA form for recording a drivers' hours infringement, the conversation held with the driver about it and what was agreed — the follow-up rather than the detection.
- New driver induction checklistAn induction checklist for new drivers, covering the documents to see, the briefings to give and the records that prove both happened.
